We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Stay updated on the latest industry practices and technologies.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle or machinery repair.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients.
A relevant qualification or certification in mechanics is advantageous but not essential.
