Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. If you have a passion for working with heavy machinery and possess strong mechanical skills, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including electrical systems
Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot
Issues
Fabricate and assemble parts as needed
Conduct equipment repairs in a timely and efficient manner
Operate forklifts and other machinery as required
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
Forklift operation experience is a plus
Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues
